Koh Nang Yuan island in Thailand – One of World’s most beautiful Tropical Islands
If you spend your holiday on Koh Tao or Koh Samui make sure to visit Koh Nang Yuan. Koh Nang Yuan island in Thailand is probably one of world’s most beautiful tropical islands. Just 1.5 hours via speedboat from the North Shore of Thailand’s Famed Samui island, you are in the Land of Paradise. The island is located next to Koh Tao island and the beach is well known for its sugar white sands and crystal-clear emerald green water.
Koh Nang Yuan is actually three little beautiful islands connected together by a gorgeous little beach (sand bar of about 50 m) which forms when the tide goes out. They are called North, Middle and South Island respectively. Looking from a far distance, it gives you an illusion of someone walking on the water!!!
It takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the viewpoint. Simply follow the signs that say Viewpoint and you will be rewarded with excellent views and great photo opportunities. The hike to the viewpoint can be challenging for someone like me:-) but rewarding.

Stay away from the wet season, from September until November due to the Northeast monsoon.
