How to go :

• By car: From Bangkok, take Phetchakasem Road (Highway No.4) to Nakhon Pathom, then Ratchaburi, from Nakhon Chaisi intersection go straight to the left-side bridge, crossing the highway to Kanchanaburi (24.4 kilometers.), following Kanchanaburi sign for another 60 kilometers and drive 4 kilometers away from the Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal
• By train: Take a train running from Bangkok/Thonburi to Namtok Station, Kanchanaburi, then get off at the Bridge (available on weekends and national holidays)

What / Why :

Thanks to several films and books, the River Khwae Bridge, which is a branch of Maenam Mae Klong has become notoriously famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it’s a dramatic one.
