In the latest experimental project by the 2010 Cannes Palme d’Or winning director, Apichatpong Weerasethakul puts on a multiple video installation featuring interview footage shot around the Northeastern village of Nabua, once a hotbed of communist insurgency during the 1960s. Apichat blends the memories of villagers alongside fictional sequences’ to explore this turbulent period of Thai history.
