MAROON 5 LIVE IN BANGKOK

Singha Corporation brings Maroon 5 back

to Bangkok for October 8 show

Hot on the heels of the release of their latest album, Overexposed, Maroon 5 has set out on another world tour. Thai fans will get to experience the quintet at Impact Arena with Singha Corporation Presents Maroon 5 Live in Bangkok 2012 with special guests The Cab on Monday 8 October. Tickets can be booked at all ThaiticketMajor branches.

The American funk-pop-rock band led by frontman Adam Levine, guitarist James Valentine, bassist Mickey Madden, drummer Matt Flynn and keyboardist PJ Morton (currently filling in for Jesse Carmichael, who’s on hiatus), has fans worldwide, including many in Thailand. The band’s two previous concerts in Bangkok in 2009 and 2011 were met with record-high ticket sales showing just how popular the band is in Thailand.

The band’s brilliant musical talents along with the unmatched charisma of Adam Levine, and everlasting smash hits including “This Love”, “She Will Be Loved”, “Makes Me Wonder”, “Wake Up Call”, “Moves Like Jagger”, plus “Payphone” and “One More Night” from the latest album, have fans clamouring to see the band in concert again.

Maroon 5 began to show their true potential as a headlining pop-rock band right from their debut album Songs About Jane, which went on to sell over 10 million copies worldwide. The band was also awarded the Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2004 and received Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group with Vocal for the single, “This Love” in 2005. After four years of touring alongside legends such as The Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder, they came back with their second album It Won’t Be Soon Before Long. The album’s lead single “Makes Me Wonder” created history on the Billboard Top 100 chart when it skyrocketed from #64 to #1 after just one week of release. “Makes Me Wonder” won the group another Grammy for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal, while the album also won Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards in 2007.

After laying low for three years, the band released their third studio album Hands All Over. The album featured the funky singles “Misery”, “Give A Little More”, and “Never Gonna Leave This Bed”, concluding with the anthemic “Move Likes Jagger” that rocked the world setting the record as the most downloaded song in history.

Their latest studio album Overexposed, released in June 2012 features the electronic-reggae “One More Night”, smash single “Payphone” featuring guest rapper Wiz Khalifa, funked-up ballad “Beautiful Goodbye”, the disco-rock jam “Doin’ Dirt” and many more.
