How to go :
• By car: Travel 58 kilometers west of Chiang Mai via Highway No. 108 to Chom Thong, then turn right into Highway No. 1009 and continue a further distance of 48 kilometers along Highway No. 1009 to the summit. Total distance is around 90 kilometers
• By minibus: Take a minidus at Chom Thong Market, near Phra Tat Chom Thong Temple or Mae Klang Waterfall
What / Why :
Doi Inthanon Royal Project is in Khun Klang village close to the park headquarters. The project was initiated to help the hill tribes to cultivate cash crops other than opium and train them on modern agricultural practices.
