How to go :
Across Rama VIII Bridge or Pinkloa Bridge. Use the Upper Parallel way and drive down to Bangkae-Bang Bua Thong Junction. Keep left and go straight to Putthamonthon II Junction, turn left in order to turn back to Bangkok after that go straight and keep left (about 2 minute) until you can see Caltex Gas Station turn left into Belle Ville Village (เบลเลอวิว) which is close to Caltex Gas Station. Ardell Gallery stand in front of you on your right hand.
What / Why :
ARDEL Gallery of Modern Art is a modern-style spacious arts venue located on Boromrachachonnee Road in Bangkok.
With 720 square-meter multipurpose art space, ARDEL Gallery is appropriated for holding the exhibition of visual arts as well as performing arts. Alternatively, the gallery provides space for art related activities such as art training workshop, group discussion and seminar.
Accordingly, the gallery space is divided into 5 main parts as follows;
Main Hall
The main exhibition hall is a 3.7 meter high spacious hall with surrounded natural light inlets. With 190 square-meter nice space, the hall is fully equipped with professional lighting system which could be adjusted for all kinds of exhibition. To facilitate various kinds of display, the duo-wall system of natural wood and concrete is set in certain area. In addition, solid and sturdy floor enable the display of art object which is up to 3 meter height.
Outdoor Space
The 200 square-meter open space, in-between the buildings, is available for outdoor exhibition including sculpture, installation and performing arts.
Workshop
The simple modern-style building in front of the gallery is set as art workshop which could be used for the purpose of creating work of arts as well as holding art training course. The workshop is well equipped with a professional printmaking machine and tools. All art materials is in place for artists and trainees to utilize it for creating their own tangible imagination.
Cafeteria
The chic coffee shop, located in the heart of the art space, always presents warm welcome with fresh coffee, beverages as well as various kinds of snacks to all visitors. The cafeteria is set in a 40 square meter space that is appropriated for holding the exhibition of young artist.
